Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (patterns, reliability, scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications.
• Experience programming with at least one language (C#, C++, Java, Perl).
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer tools used by Amazon engineers.
• Work with languages and libraries powering Amazon's services.
• Maintain build tools, compilers and package managers.
• Collaborate with engineers across Amazon to address pain points.
• Write code, review code, and help debug issues with tooling.
