Job summary

Green Metals, Inc. is seeking a Plant Supervisor to direct scrap steel warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accurate inventory management.

You will lead a team of plant workers, develop standard procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across receiving, inspection, and shipping. The role requires strong supervisory skills, knowledge of safety rules, and experience with heavy equipment like overhead cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or technical schooling required; related experience acceptable.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with proven safety focus.
• Experience with receiving, inspection and shipping processes; inventory control.
• Continuous improvement mindset (kaizen) and ability to develop standard work.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate scrap steel warehouse operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor receiving, inspection and shipping performance; manage inventory layout.
• Lead development of work instructions, procedures and standards for plant functions.
• Support preventative maintenance and environmental compliance programs (GMI).
• Prepare reports for management and participate in training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
