Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a highly motivated Non-Ferrous Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of non-ferrous metals, inventory management, and daily operations while maintaining our commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.

You’ll unload, inspect, process, and disassemble various types of non-ferrous scrap metal; yard cleanup and maintenance; and other general physical labor duties to ensure high-quality material is

Qualifications

• Experience grading and handling non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of non-ferrous marketing and inventory management.
• Experience operating forklifts and bobcats.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Rimas, and Power BI.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively with an operations team.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload, inspect, process, and disassemble non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Manage non-ferrous inventory for accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and assist the operations team daily.
• Safely load trailers using proper techniques.
• Operate forklifts and bobcats per safety standards.
• Maintain records and reports with Excel, Rimas, Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Perform equipment inspections and report defects.
