Job summary

Green Metals, Inc. is seeking a Waste Operations Supervisor to oversee the handling of scrap, recyclables, and waste generated from automotive manufacturing. You will contribute to EMS performance, regulatory compliance, and pollution reduction across facilities.

The role requires 2–3 years of management experience in a warehouse or automotive manufacturing setting, with a 2nd shift schedule. We offer competitive benefits including health coverage, PTO, retirement plans, and tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of management experience in a Warehouse/Automotive Manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members following standard work instructions for waste removal and recycling in manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee 5S housekeeping and ensure monthly safety KPIs and reports are completed.
• Lead team meetings and training sessions; participate in Kaizen activities.
• Assist in creating operational procedures and documentation.

Summary

Responsible for supervision of and performance of the Team related to processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position also include contributing to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.

What You'll Do

• Supervises Team Membersin following standardized work instructions as related to the removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturingfacilitiesin a safe manner.
• Supervises cleaning of work area according to 5S standards.
• Ensures all monthly safety KPIs and other reports assigned are completed.
• Leads and/or participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Participates in Kaizen activities.
• Assists in the creation of operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.

What You Need

High School Diploma and/or 2-3 years of management experience preferably in a Warehouse/Automotive Manufacturing environment.
