Job summary

Green Metals, Inc. is seeking a shift supervisor for the waste processing team at our Kentucky facilities. The role focuses on supervising the handling, removal, and disposal of scrap, recyclables, and waste generated during automotive manufacturing.

You will contribute to EMS performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous environmental improvements while leading a team on 2nd shift. Prior manufacturing supervision and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of management experience in warehouse or automotive manufacturing.
• Experience supervising waste handling and compliance with EMS/regulations.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Team Members in following standardized work instructions related to removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturing facilities in a safe manner.
• Supervises cleaning of work area according to 5S standards.
• Ensures all monthly safety KPIs and other reports assigned are completed.
• Leads and/or participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Participates in Kaizen activities.
• Assists in the creation of operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.

Summary Responsible for supervision of and performance of the Team related to processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position also include contributing to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.
