The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (Natinoal MagLab) in Tallahassee seeks an IT professional to provide specialized support to faculty and staff. You will set up and manage Windows and Mac devices, maintain imaging and device management, and assist with purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities include AD/Office 365 administration, after-hours on-site support, and collaboration with Cybersecurity to improve procedures. Strong troubleshooting and customer-service orientation are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with four years of experience.
• Experience with Active Directory is preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized IT support to faculty and staff.
• Set up and install networked servers, desktops, laptops, and devices.
• Maintain imaging servers and device management (SimpleMDM).
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365.
• Provide after-hours onsite support for mission-critical operations.
• Assist with hardware/software purchasing decisions and quotes.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to develop processes and procedures.
