Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a part‑time School Van Driver in Wilbraham, MA to transport students to and from school and events. You will perform pre‑trip inspections, keep a clean vehicle, and follow school district policies while communicating professionally with families and staff.

Paid training is provided; schedule is part‑time split AM/PM, weekdays only with no nights or holidays. There are opportunities for extra hours and part‑time benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate to transport pupils (7D) or willingness to obtain — training provided.
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical.
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Van Pool Transportation LLC Driver

Van Pool Transportation LLC Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.70/hour
  • Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
