Beacon Mobility in Mansfield, MA is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events. Pay is $24.40 per hour with a paid training rate of $20 per hour and a guaranteed minimum of hours; you may enjoy a split AM/PM schedule on weekdays with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements include a 7D Certificate (or willingness to obtain), a safe driving record, age 21+, and the ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and a 7D medical.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
