Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC is seeking a part-time School Van Driver in Duxbury, MA to transport students safely to school and events. The role involves AM/PM split shifts, a $24.41/hour rate, paid training at $20/hour, and weekday schedules with guaranteed hours.

Training and growth opportunities are available through Beacon Mobility’s supportive program. Ideal candidates are 21+ with 3+ years driving, a clean record, and the ability to pass background checks and physicals; English

Qualifications

• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical.
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written).
• Willingness to obtain 7D certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• May assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and using safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats).
• Drive assigned routes and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and communicate professionally with students, families, and staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc )
