Butler's Bus Service in Hartford, VT is seeking a School Van Driver (Part-Time) to transport students to and from school and events on weekdays. The role includes driving assigned routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining a clean vehicle, and communicating professionally with families and school staff.

We offer paid training, attendance and referral bonuses, and a part-time benefits package.

Formación

• Must have a valid driving record and be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and a 7D physical.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport students to and from school and events; may assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and using safety equipment.
• Drive assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $18-24/hour
• Schedule: Part-time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You'll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
