F.M. Kuzmeskus Inc. (TravelKuz) in Shelburne Falls, MA is hiring a part-time School Van Driver to transport students safely to and from school events.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate student transport routes, and maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle while adhering to DOT regulations and district policies. The role requires a 21+ driver with at least 3 years of driving experience, a 7D certificate or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to communicate clearly in English

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre‑trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Pay & Schedule

Pay: $24.40/hour (effective 8/24/2026) Paid Training: $20/hour

Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)

Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
