Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC is seeking a School Van Driver (Part-Time) to transport students safely to and from school and events. You will operate a school vehicle, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations while providing friendly, professional service.

Pay is $24.41 per hour with paid training at $20/hour. This role offers weekdays only, split AM/PM shifts, guaranteed hours and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!).
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical.
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events; assist with entering/exiting and safety equipment as needed.
• Drive assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Job description

Van Pool Transportation LLCA Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Pay: $24.41/hour Paid Training: $20/hour

Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)

Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
