Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Dracut, MA is seeking a part‑time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events. This role offers a paid training period at $20/hour, then $23.70/hour, with a split AM/PM schedule.

Weekdays only, no nights, weekends, or holidays, and weekly pay with guaranteed hours. Ideal candidates bring a safe driving record, a 7D certificate (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
