Job summary

Local Motion, LLC is seeking a School Van Driver (Part Time) in Braintree, MA to safely transport students to and from school and events. No experience required as training is provided, with paid training at $20/hour and a competitive part-time schedule.

The role offers paid training, attendance and referral bonuses, consistent hours and pay, and a benefits package for part-time employees. You can take the van home, and there are opportunities for extra hours on charters and activities.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

• Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)

• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
