Douglas County School District’s Lone Tree Elementary seeks a Kitchen Assistant to support daily school lunch operations. You will assist with food prep, serving, cleaning, and sanitation, while following HACCP guidelines and health regulations. You’ll learn the POS system and help ensure accurate daily cash handling.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, teamwork, and adaptability. 30 hours/week, 0.75 FTE, with benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsabilités

• Assist in setup and cleanup of serving areas for timely service.
• Ensure proper HACCP compliance and sanitation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow recipes and portion sizes.
• Learn and operate Point of Sale system and reconcile monies daily.
• Build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
