Zusammenfassung

Federal Way Public Schools is seeking a Central Kitchen Assistant 2 to work across bakery, salad, cooking or production areas, preparing and assembling meals in line with NSLP regulations and district protocols.

You will assist in multiple kitchen departments, maintain sanitation, and support meal service in schools as needed. A high school diploma and experience in food service are preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current FWPS Employee or Guest Employee with Nutrition Services.
• Past experience in food service operations preferred.
• National School Lunch Program Experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with all phases of food preparation in many departments of the kitchen in a timely, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Clean and maintain general orderliness during and/or after production.
• Load the correct amount of food into the serving units as ordered and as per scheduled times and/or events.
• Provide back-up assistance to receive lunch counts from schools and assist with filling orders as requested.
• Provide back up working in schools, including operation of Point of Sale System, as needed.
• Fill special meals orders, as required.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area and coffee room for all employees.
• Work in schools as needed to serve meals and perform supporting meal activities.
