Job summary

Federal Way Public Schools is seeking a School Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation and service in our Nutrition Services Department. You will help with lunch setup, serve meals, and operate cashier systems while maintaining records and sanitation standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in food service or NSLP is preferred. This position involves teamwork across schools and adherence to health and safety protocols within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Education and experience as described in the job outline.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS use.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Experience with National School Lunch Program is preferred.

Responsibilities
