Job summary

Federal Way Public Schools is seeking a part-time School Kitchen Assistant at Federal Way High School to assist with lunch service and food preparation. You will handle cash, operate the POS system, and help maintain accurate meal records while following district nutrition service protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Kitchen Manager with lunch set-up, prep and cleanup.
• Serve meals to students and staff; handle cash and tickets.
• Operate POS and ticketing systems as required.
• Maintain records of lunches sold and milk deliveries.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper food safety practices.
• Attend contracted meetings.
