Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid WA Food Handler's Permit.
• Knowledge of USDA school meal patterns.
• Ability to maintain records and reports for meal counts, inventories, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high quality meals according to menu planners.
• Train and supervise staff and student workers.
• Maintain kitchen and storeroom, equipment and cleaning schedules.
• Maintain records including meal counts, orders, payroll, inventory.
• Establish cooperative working relations with staff and promote nutrition.
