Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a flexible kitchen assistant for breakfast and/or lunch service, assisting with serving lines and occasional catering. You will follow Opaa! recipes, help with prep, and ensure food safety and proper temperature control.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, maintaining clean work areas, FIFO inventory, cash handling when needed, and adherence to HACCP and district policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in food service or school cafeteria is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving lines and keep food at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper FIFO inventory
• Handle customer monies and run cash register when required
• Follow HACCP procedures and daily safety logs
