Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a flexible kitchen associate to assist with breakfast and/or lunch offerings, help serve customers, and perform all kitchen duties as needed.

You will follow menu plans, prep ahead, and ensure foods are kept at safe temperatures. This position supports cafeteria and catering services across various sites. You will handle inventory, FIFO practices, equipment operation, sanitation, and smooth daily operations while upholding Opaa!'s core values and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; related on-site experience considered.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions for consistent food quality.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety practices is beneficial.
• Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure foods are held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes; batch cook when needed.
• Operate slicers and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and proper FIFO inventory.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen, dishes, and storage areas.
