The Easton Area School District Education Center in Easton, PA seeks a full-time Computer Technician - Help Desk to support district-wide technology. Immediate start; 12-month position with salary commensurate with the Act 93 Compensation Plan.

Duties include Help Desk ticket support, printer maintenance, software installs, and hardware assistance across sites. The role requires basic OS knowledge, teamwork, and a valid driver’s license, with eligibility for required clearances.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Basic skills in desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
Ability to perform basic technology maintenance tasks.
Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming Help Desk tickets.
Resolve printer and printing issues or escalate to Print Management Vendor.
Distribute printer cartridges and toner.
Install new software programs.
Maintain systems through software updates.
Provide hardware and software support for interactive projectors and other projection devices.
Perform basic troubleshooting of copier scanning and faxing.
Assist with resolving student iPad issues.
Recognize and escalate more difficult problems to senior technicians.
Assist other technology team members as needed.
