Job summary

Aramark Student Nutrition is hiring a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations in a school setting. You will oversee daily activities, coach staff, and ensure high-quality service and compliance with safety standards.

The role focuses on delivering nutritious meals and excellent customer experiences in alignment with Aramark’s standards. The position requires management experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage client relationships while driving efficiency and cost

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred?
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to maintain client rapport and work with multiple departments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dining operation and coach team members to meet safety, sanitation and client expectations.
• Identify client needs and communicate progress; manage P&L targets.
• Implement cost controls and productivity initiatives to improve margins.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Oversee front-of-house dining activities and coordinate with the Food Service Director.
