Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver’s license, with continuous licensure for the past 3 years.
• Vehicles seating >15: CDL with Passenger endorsement; 15-passenger van requires no special license.
• Age 21–80; documentation required for drivers over 75.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 5 years; background check and MVR required.
• Annual physician’s statement for drivers with medical conditions; random drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce rules and assist students.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved by the Director.
