Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dependable part-time vehicle driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record, with a mature Christian faith and active church involvement as outlined by LifeWise beliefs.

You will be entrusted with safe bus operation, adherence to traffic laws, safeguarding students, performing routine vehicle checks, and, when possible, volunteering in the LifeWise classroom

Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver''s license; must have been licensed past three years.
• CDL with passenger endorsement for 15+ seating; or 15-passenger van with no special license.
• Ages 21–80; additional documentation for drivers over 75.
• No major moving violations in the last five years; background check required.
• Annual Physician''s Statement for known medical conditions; drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director.
