Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Newbury, MA is seeking a Part‑Time School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and events. CDL Class B with P & S endorsements is preferred, or willingness to obtain training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes on a part‑time schedule.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the bus.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and professional conduct with students and staff.
• Follow state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements ?

Earn a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $31.93-$32.96/hour (effective August 24th 2026)
• Paid Training: $20/hour
• Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You'll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card-or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
