Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Gardner, MA is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver. No CDL? Paid training available; licensed CDL holders with P & S endorsements welcome. You’ll transport students, perform inspections, and maintain a safe vehicle. Evening/AM–PM shifts offered with weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or higher with P&S endorsements.
• Willing to obtain additional endorsements; training provided.

• 21+ years old with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training. Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements ?

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $30.90/hour (effective 8/24/26) Paid Training: $20/hour Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour

Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

Requirements
