Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a licensed school-based therapist to provide individual, group, or pull-in counseling to K-12 students with IEPs and BIPs, supporting social-emotional learning.

You will collaborate with school teams, families, and external partners, conduct assessments, and help develop goals while maintaining compliant documentation in student files.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Professional licensure as one of LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC.
• 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services to students according to IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs with social-emotional goals and participate in IEP meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments, analyze data, and develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation and crisis management to maintain safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with other teams (expressive therapy and clinical teams).
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain documents in student files per regulatory requirements.

Education

Master's degree in social work, human services, or related field

Professional licensure: LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC
