Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Port Arthur, TX seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication needs within educational settings. You will collaborate with ARD teams, parents, and district staff to develop individualized plans and monitor progress.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, sharing findings, delivering therapy or supervising assistants, and maintaining detailed student records to ensure access to education for all

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech‑language needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Communicate findings clearly with parents and district personnel.
• Develop evidence‑based therapeutic interventions with ARD committee input.
• Provide therapy services directly or supervise assistants.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and related discussions to advocate for students.
