Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Communicate findings to parents and district personnel with clarity and compassion.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with the ARD committee to support IEP goals.
• Deliver therapy services or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
