Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 1099 independent contractor role in Texas. Starting at $50.00 per hour, the position focuses on helping students participate in school activities and develop independence.

You’ll work within school settings, assess students, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support IEP goals and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify strengths, barriers to participation, and needs for related services.
• Explain evaluation results to parents, educators, and district personnel with practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop interventions that support functional skills and classroom participation.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy or supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Maintain accurate records, collect student data, and use findings to guide interventions.
