Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited OT program.
• Active Texas TBOTE OT license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify strengths, participation barriers, and needs for related services.
• Explain evaluation results to parents, educators, and district personnel with clear, practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with the IEP team to develop evidence-based interventions supporting functional skills and classroom participation.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy or supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in implementing therapy plans and IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records, collect and analyze student data, and use findings to adjust interventions and inform service planning.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to coordinate support and promote student progress.
