Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support students in school settings. This 1099 independent contractor role offers starting pay at $50.00 per hour and focuses on helping students participate and build independence.

You'll assess needs, collaborate with the IEP team, deliver services or supervise COTAs, and maintain records to inform ongoing planning. This is a part-time, on-site position with flexible school-day opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited OT program.
• Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas (TBOTE).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand each student's needs and conduct OT assessments to support participation.
• Explain evaluation results to parents, educators, and district staff with practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop evidence-based interventions for functional skills.
• Deliver direct OT services or supervise licensed COTAs implementing therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate records, collect student data, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and family conferences to coordinate support.
