Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited OT program.
• Active TBOTE license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand each student's needs and conduct occupational therapy assessments.
• Explain evaluation results to parents, educators, and district personnel with practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop evidence-based interventions for functional skills and classroom participation.
• Provide direct occupational therapy or supervise licensed COTAs in implementing therapy plans and IEP goals.
• Maintain records, collect and analyze student data, and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to coordinate support.
