Job summary

Spero seeks a Family Service Coordinator to provide individual and family services for children within the Waseca County Collaborative for Families framework. The FSC acts as a liaison among school, family, and community resources, delivering services in school, home, and community settings to prevent issues and support early intervention.

Responsibilities include coordinating interventions, maintaining documentation, and supporting at-risk students with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
• Experience with children with mental health or behavioral difficulties.
• Experience with diverse family systems.
• Knowledge of community resources for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family services for children and liaise with school and community resources.
• Deliver services in school, home, and community settings.
• Maintain documentation of interventions and student services.
• Counsel and provide skills training to students individually and in small groups.
• Refer families to appropriate services and resources.
• Develop relationships with county and regional service providers.
• Attend FSC staff supervision meetings and work with school staff to identify at-risk behavior.
• Educate staff on FSC referral processes and coordinate casework.
