Job summary

Para Los Niños seeks a Community School Coordinator to support implementation of the community schools strategy at the school site. The role involves working with students, families, school staff, and partners to identify needs, connect to resources, and coordinate services.

The CSC builds strong relationships, facilitates meetings, tracks outcomes, and ensures services are accessible and responsive to the school community. This is a 12-month, full-time position based in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in public, charter, or private school settings.
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with students, families, staff, and partners.
• Show respect, openness, and cultural awareness with diverse backgrounds.
• Clear, effective communication and active listening with diverse audiences.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills for multiple projects and timelines.
• Sound judgment and practical problem-solving while adapting to changing needs.
• English proficiency; Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and outreach to identify student and family needs.
• Collect, organize, and analyze program data to improve services.
• Connect students and families to school-based and community resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, staff, partners.
• Coordinate services and events with community partners.
• Facilitate meetings with school staff, students, families, and partners.
• Maintain records of referrals and program activities.
• Track participation and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Participate in agency and school meetings and professional development.
