Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health is hiring school-based Behavior Technicians to deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism inside school settings. You'll work under the supervision of a BCBA, providing 1:1 and small group support, collecting data, and helping implement IEP/504 goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Bachelor or Associate degree in behavioral health, education, psychology or related field preferred.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools in the region.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of hire with training provided.
• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorders is a plus.
• Complies with BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing positive behavior support plans in school settings.
• Provide direct 1:1 and small group ABA therapy to support skill acquisition.
• Collect and report data on IEP goals, behavior management, social skills and academics.
• Collaborate with school district staff and assist training of district personnel.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for students and teams.
