Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health seeks a school-based Registered Behavior Technician to support students with autism in the Methacton school district under BCBA supervision.

You will implement ABA plans in 1:1 and small-group settings, collect data on IEP goals, and collaborate with district staff to ensure effective interventions. A supportive team environment offers mentorship and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be RBT certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening required.
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, ECE, psychology or related field preferred.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region.
• Prior professional experience with children with ASD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of ABA plans in school settings.

• Collect and analyze data on IEP/504 goals and programs.
• Collaborate with school staff and assist with training.

Our Registered Behavior Technicians work as valued members of our therapy teams to provide individualized services to children with autism, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Registered Behavioral Technician will provide individualized therapy services in a 1:1 teaching format to children with autism in a school setting. This position will support clients in the Methacton school district.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Assist in the implementation of positive behavior support plans, IEP, and/or 504 plans utilizing ABA principles in the school setting.
• Provide direct 1:1 and/or small group therapy to identified student(s) to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions as directed by the BCBA.
• Implement and report data on programs such as student's IEP goals, behavioral management, social skills and academic areas.
• Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of school district staff.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for students and school teams (i.e., teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators).
• Implements the student’s behavior intervention plan and/or safety plan as developed by the BCBA.
• Collect and analyze skill acquisition and challenging behavior data, with oversight and supervision provided by a BCBA.

We are looking for compassionate Registered Behavioral Technicians with:

• Must be RBT Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening: This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, which must be successfully completed as a condition of employment.
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred
• Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region
• Prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting is a plus!
• Works with integrity and adheres to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies
• Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion
