Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians for the 2026/2027 school year, a part-time position supporting students with autism in a classroom setting. No ABA experience required as paid training is provided, with a 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM schedule and compensation of $19.25 to $23.00 per hour.

You will work 1:1 with students, help them build communication, social, and daily living skills, and collaborate with families, teachers, and supervisors to ensure consistent progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Currently enrolled in college or pursuing a degree.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree may be beneficial.
• Reliable transportation, driver's license & insurance.
• Passion for working with children; bilingual a bonus.
• Ability to stand, bend, run and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students in a school setting using ABA (training provided).
• Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with families, teachers and supervisors to track progress.
• Contribute to a supportive team focused on meaningful student progress.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.25 to $23.00 per hour

• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
