Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students with autism in classroom settings using ABA; paid training is provided.

No ABA experience is required, as full training is offered. The role is 1:1 with students, helping build communication and daily living skills while collaborating with families and teachers. This part-time position follows school-day hours, with supportive supervision and ongoing education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• College coursework or enrollment advertised as preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree considered favorable.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Bilingual skills are a bonus.
• Active role including standing, bending, running and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students in a school-based setting using ABA (we train you!).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Be part of a team that supports meaningful progress.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.25-$26.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
