Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists for the 2026/2027 school year in California. The role focuses on supporting students with autism through ABA, with paid training provided.

Work is 1:1 with students during school hours, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in a collaborative team setting. No ABA experience required—training is provided—and we offer benefits including medical coverage options, a 401(k) plan, and reimbursement for drive time and mileage.

Qualifications

• HS diploma is required; college coursework preferred.
• Prior experience with children is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a bonus.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.25 to $23.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
