Job summary

Intercare Therapy in California is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students with autism in classroom settings using ABA. No ABA experience required—paid training is provided to get you up to speed.

The role is part-time with school-day hours 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and a pay range of $20.25–$26.00 per hour. You’ll work 1:1 with students, help build communication, social, and daily living skills, and collaborate with families and teachers to sustain progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Currently enrolled in college or pursuing a degree.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Bilingual skills are a bonus.
• Physical ability to engage with children, including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students in a school-based setting using ABA (we train you!).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Be part of a team that supports meaningful progress and shows up daily.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and supervisors to support consistent progress.

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
