Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students with autism in classrooms using ABA. No ABA experience is required as paid training is provided.

The role is part-time with school-day hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM in Carson, CA. You will work 1:1 with students, helping develop communication, social, and daily living skills while collaborating with families, teachers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Currently enrolled in college or has an associate's or bachelor's degree.
• Reliable transportation, driver's license, and insurance.
• Passion for working with children; bilingual skills are a bonus.
• Physical ability to engage with children (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).

• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.25 to $23.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
