Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists for the 2026/2027 school year in California. Start in the classroom to support students with autism using ABA; paid training is provided. Part-time schedule with school-day hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; below items preferred.
• At least one completed college course.
• Currently enrolled in college or pursuing degree.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license & insurance.
• Passion for working with children; bilingual skills are a bonus.
• Physical ability to assist with activities and lifts up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students in a school-based setting using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and supervisors to support progress.
• Be part of a team that supports meaningful progress in the classroom.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.25 to $23.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college

• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
