Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring Behavior Technicians for in-home and clinic-based roles in South Gate, California. The position is part-time with a pay range of $19.25–$23.00 per hour and a flexible schedule including afternoons and early evenings.

Responsibilities include conducting 1:1 ABA-based sessions, helping children develop communication and daily living skills, and traveling to client locations. Paid training and ongoing supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one completed college course or currently enrolled in college.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.
• Able to travel locally within 20–40 miles radius.
• Comfortable with physical activity (standing, kneeling, running, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home and clinic settings using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Travel to client homes and local community locations to provide services.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each child.

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma + one of the following:
• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, registration & insurance
• Comfortable with local travel to nearby client locations (20–40mi radius)
• Passion for working with children (experience preferred)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
