Job summary

Intercare Therapy seeks School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students with autism in a Van Nuys classroom using ABA. No ABA experience is required, paid training provided.

Part-time schedule mirrors school days, with 7:30 AM–3:30 PM availability and daily classroom support in a collaborative team. Affirmative benefits include medical plan options, 401(k) with company match, paid training, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Currently enrolled in college or pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license, transportation and insurance required.

• Active role including standing, bending, running and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students in a school-based setting using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Be part of a team that supports meaningful progress daily.
• Collaborate with families, teachers and supervisors to ensure progress.

Pay & Schedule

$20.25 to $23.00 per hour

Part-time role

School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
