Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Special Education or related field.
• CPI trainer or willingness to complete CPI training.
• National Certification from Behavior Analyst Board.
• BCBA licensure in Maryland.
• Minimum of five years of current experience in Special Education or Related Services.
• Solid understanding of IDEA and compliance.
• Knowledge of Maryland Online IEP Program (MDOIEP).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead and train staff; supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in MS Office and technology.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supports identified schools with development and implementation of ABA-based programs and practices.
• Serves as a resource to Crisis Management Team.
• Develops materials and provides resources for families and staff in ABA and Verbal Behavior.
• Plans and delivers professional development on evidence-based strategies.
• Conducts Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and supports Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Provides coaching and modeling of best practices in classrooms.
• Supports families via home visits for treatment and collaboration.
• Assists with data-tracking/monitoring systems; supervises Behavior Technician.
