Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is assembling a BCBA-led team to implement a Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The role includes functional assessments, behavior intervention planning, classroom coaching and supervision of RBTs within twelve elementary schools.

You will work embedded in schools with a multidisciplinary team, providing supervision, documentation, and collaboration with district leadership to sustain supports and ensure fidelity.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Maryland license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Experience providing school-based behavioral services.
• Experience coaching and supporting educational personnel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for students with behavioral needs.
• Develop, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using data.
• Provide direct observation and consultation in classrooms and school settings.
• Model evidence-based behavioral strategies and promote replacement behaviors.
• Supervise RBTs to BACB requirements with feedback and fidelity monitoring.
• Coach teachers and paraeducators on behavior supports.
• Support teams with crisis prevention and de-escalation planning.
• participate in IEP/MTSS meetings and related discussions as needed.
• Collaborate with district leadership on implementation and documentation.
