Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is staffing twelve elementary schools in Anne Arundel County Public Schools for its Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model, with eight Registered Behavior Technicians joining the team. Roles begin on contract award and operate in the school day with supervision from BCBA colleagues.

The residency places a multidisciplinary team and serves high-acuity students. You work in assigned schools with BACB supervision provided at no cost, and compensation ranges

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
• Compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
• Ability to clear Maryland background checks for work with students.
• A current resume and copies of credentials submitted to the district.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, school-based implementation support for behavior intervention plans and student intervention strategies.
• Model behavioral strategies for school staff within real classroom routines.
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the BCBA and school team.
• Support student skill building in self-regulation, communication, transitions, social interaction and replacement behaviors.
• Implement individualized strategies across school settings, including classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal.
• Implement proactive supports to reduce crisis responses and disruption to instruction.
• Work within your training, certification and scope of practice under supervision of an assigned BCBA.
