Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is assembling a team to support Anne Arundel County Public Schools in a Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model. Two Board Certified Behavior Analysts will lead the behavioral work in twelve elementary schools, with a multidisciplinary team including RBTs and a licensed mental health provider.

You perform functional behavioral assessments, create and monitor BIPs, observe in classrooms, coach teachers, and supervise RBTs to BACB requirements.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Current Maryland license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Experience providing school-based behavioral services.
• Experience coaching and supporting educational personnel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for students with significant behavioral needs.
• Develop, revise, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct observation, assessment and consultation in classrooms and school settings.
• Model evidence-based strategies and support replacement behaviors.
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians to BACB requirements with feedback and fidelity monitoring.
• Coach and give performance feedback to teachers and related staff.
• Support school teams with crisis prevention, de-escalation planning and post-incident solving.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS and manifestation meetings as requested.
• Collaborate with district leadership on implementation and fidelity.
• Help schools build staff capacity to sustain supports.
